"Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Decor a little dated, but this is part of the charm of choosing a rural hotel. Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back."

"Sorry one night stay. The hotel was pleasant and friendly and handy for sightseeing the battlefields of Verdun. Decent breakfast which was good value. Although you can buy a drink to take to the room, there was no bar and local bars were a little far to walk. If I was in Verdun again, I'd certainly consider staying again."

"Having read the reviews we could see this would be a pleasant place to night stop. And the reviews were not wrong! Delightful property and despite being in the main road into town, parking was extremely easy and safe right outside. Being a historic building it is very substantial and once inside there is no noise from the road. Our room was delightful and had direct access to the garden, which contains a large swimming

"My tour group stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel felt a little dated, but thr excellent service from staff, and the perfect location made up for it. On site restaurant was excellent. The attached bar had a great assortment of beer. "
