"Very lovely welcome to a historic and plush, cosy stay at Jorvik House for a post Christmas getaway. Everything fantastic, only mimor gripes that Yorks parking might be a tad cheaper, perhaps there are cheaper ones than the conveniently located Marygate car park a stones throw away."

Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. "The room was lovely and clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful, even when we checked out the receptionist asked if there was anything else we would like help with. I thought this was a very thoughtful and nice thing to ask. The bar area was airy and well laid out and the drinks were reasonably priced."
