"This property has been slipping down over the years. Rooms are getting old and not kept up. Tiles in the bathroom chipped. Dirty tissues laying on the floor at the bed post. Dusted on the high spots. Met cleaning crew getting on the elevator as we got off. They left the cleanig cart in middle of the hallway. The cleaning cart had the rooms master key attached to a neck lanyard sitting on top in plain view. I could have taken it and entered every room. Serious safety issue. No streetlights in...

Due to them not having someone working in the lobby at all times, you are unable to get into the lobby without a code. We did not have that code sent automatically to us, and had to request it. "Brasstown has always been a favorite place for me to go to. The views and the amenities are wonderful. The food is excellent. I know it’s undergoing a renovation which is badly needed and that’s why my score is not a five star. It looks tired in a lot of the rooms, my sink was rusted. I think you also need a different brand of coffee in the rooms. Dark magic by Green Mountain is not always preferred but more of a medium roast."

"Enjoyed our Stay. It was the first time we have been there in several years. The room upgrades are nice but there is still a ways to go. Was not expecting to get a charge of $75.00 for daily resort fees. That was no where that i saw in my reservations and not sure what i got for these fees. "Expedia pricing given was total cost. The hotel charged an additional $78 resort fee. Yes I was informed of the additional fee (hotel message) but thought I was covered under Expedia. The hotel is my go to place to stay in the Georgia/North Carolina mountains. Comfortable bed, great walk in shower, friendly professional service and convenient"

"I love this place, it was so nice, quiet and peaceful. The remodeling of the Inn was spot on it kept the charm of the original Inn and the grounds were beautiful. The innkeeper Tim was an excellent host. We even got to meet the owner. If you are looking for a romantic get away or just simple low key charm this is a gem found in a remote lovely location in North Carolina. We will defiantly be back."
