"Be aware that the hotel reception close down at 19:00 and if you haven’t checked-in by then you have to find another place to stay. I travel a lot but rarely see this rigid routine. Normally there is an option to collect your key in a coded box or something after the reception is closed. But okay, fair enough, it’s my mistake to not follow these rules. But no card payment in 2025?! That’s a big drawback which easily can be fixed. You leave it to your guests to spend 30 minutes to find an ATM...

"I booked a room just for 1 night over 2 months in advance. The booking was confirmed by expedia. I booked the room for May 20, 2026. That morning I flew from Antalya, Turkey to Frankfurt, Germany. I had a train ticket from Frankfurt to Wroclaw, Poland for the following day. I carry a laptop with me. I do not have a smart phone. "Fantastic location in historic building just on the corner of main square. Close to the main sights. Extensive free breakfast. Locked secure bike parking. Maybe the only small thing for complaint was climbing to the 3rd floor (top), despite being cyclists 😜😆"
