The stay was perfect, the staff were great and I loved the hotel. But I can’t give more than 1 star as the hotel refused to reimburse us for a day when our airline cancelled our flight and we had to fly out a day late through no fault of our own. No flexibility whatsoever from such a huge hotel chain, very disappointing. This alone would make me not book with intercontinental in the future, they charge so much and rightfully so because they’re meant to be 5 stars but they take your money and then don’t really care. A little bit of humanity doesn’t cost anything, a cancelled flight is not the fault of the passengers but clearly we are asking for too much.

When you book a five star hotel, you expect a certain level from your room, the amenities and the hotel personnel. In short, all my expectations were surpassed. The room was nice and clean with a good view to the Marina area, but the thing that really stood out was the personnel. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, was extremely welcoming and friendly. The reception staff, maintenance workers and cleaners, restaurant staff, room service staff, the guy at the pool bar, absolutely everybody. To me, it's not even the room or amenities that make the hotel experience a five star experience but the level of service. And in this hotel, the service was a solid 10 out of 10. Just flawless job by everybody.

I had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Dubai Marina! The hotel is absolutely beautiful – modern, stylish, and perfectly located. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made me feel welcome. The food was simply fantastic – from breakfast to dinner, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai and look forward to staying here again!

Location is second to none if you are not bothered about downtown Dubai. Right on Dubai Marina and a 5 min walk from Jumeirah Beach. Dubai Mall 30 mins on Metro. Plenty to see and do in immediate vicinity and an abundance of restaurants. Particularly enjoyed the Friday night brunch on the terrace overlooking the marina. Would most definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Property
