"Good quality breakfast"

"Was told hot tubs were working. We specified that we would be moving a reservation from in Cranbrook just to enjoy pool and hot tubs. I spoke to receptionist at the hotel via phone. Arrive to find #1 hot tubs are cold, jets not working. #2 breakfast is in restaurant, expensive. #3 steam room not working. #4 small barking dog left in room next to us, no owner present. This was a dismal stay. Was supposed to be a nice, special weekend trip. Had to debase myself asking for a discount to room....

"Classic historic hotel in the downtown area. Quiet and recently updated, rooms are wonderful, modern and spacious. The only issue is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up some staircases with your bags after you park your vehicle out on the street. Overall, a very nice place to stay with coffee and restaurants all within a short walk from the front door."

"Good, clean accommodations, reasonably priced and centrally located to fast food and restaurants. It would be nice to see USB charging outlets in the rooms as standard but it’s not a deal breaker at all. Have stayed here before, will stay again."

"A little dated but clean and met our needs. The full breakfast included was a bonus. Pool and hot tub were okay but dated. Disappointed I couldn’t use the pool/tub at 7:00am when it was supposed to be open because maintenance ‘hadn’t serviced it yet’ and wouldn’t open until 7:15am. Was inconvenient for me. Good location, close to amenities and food, felt safe."

"Great location. Right on the ski hill. This time of year we could sit on the balcony and watch the wildlife on the hill. The suite/condo was nice enough and the kitchen was well equipped. One suggestion would be to get rid of the heavy drapes in the living area as they were so large that they covered up 50% of the windows when open which made it quite dreary in the suite. "Straight up, I didn’t stay here; I booked it for my 71 year old dad on a ski trip. He drank a beer in the raucous hotel bar where there was live music, was asleep by 10 when the music stopped and the lady that owned the place hugged him goodbye. Simply put, this night’s stay gave him more ammo for story telling than the previous 10 days. Outstanding."
