"Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. The room was quite nice and the bathroom was clean and updated, with a flashy lovely anti fog mirror. The bed was comfortable (very high) but the pillows were all over-stuffed- not a selection of flatter and fluffier. The heater/cooler is the old fashioned type that rumbles, loud+++. "Parking easy and access good for us but not if you have mobility issues. We had 2 rooms in 2 different buildings. One was exactly the same and same standard as our last visit, very good. The other, larger suite was missing certain touches e.g. very small bathroom/ shower/ no bottled water or biscuits provided. Would be nice touch to have milk in fridge rather than powdered milk. Excellent location. "

"It was OK. The hotel is quite dated. And even though it’s on a lake, there’s no way to walk around the lake. And the first day we were there it was a beautiful morning. We wanted to sit on the patio to have our breakfast and it was closed for no reason at all. Very disappointing. But it was nice to have a view of the lake to just relax and unwind after a busy day or at the beginning of the day with a cup of coffee"
