"The hotel is not as 'glam' as you expect and most areas are rather dated and tatty (esp the room bathrooms). The room service menu is very limited and the eating areas are very old fashion. It's a great location, some lovely team (the barman up at the pool bar, and Emily in the

is fab). But overall I was rather disappointed. Stay and see what you think, but the hotel needs to 'raise it's game' to keep people returning. Think it's riding off of an old reputation. "

"What a wonderful find! Staff was helpful making arrangements for tours. Room was big and comfortable. Pool area was relaxing - loved the coffee and cookies. Staff went out of their way to make our trip terrific. In fact, my daughter lost her phone, and the owners drove it to us at the airport after a staff member found it! Would stay here again on our next trip! "

"I stayed here by myself and it was the perfect location right by the falls entrance and you can walk to the cute shops in town. The people and staff were incredible , they had a great activities desk that arranged my airport transfers and activities that I wanted to do, and the rooms were very nice! The pool and outdoor eating areas were also incredible. Great staff and people and overall experience "

"Great lodge in the northern area of Victoria Falls, maybe 2 miles from the falls themselves. It's a $10 taxi ride from the border crossing, or you can walk it easily if you don't have luggage. I walked from the lodge to the falls and back in a morning and walked back to the border in the afternoon. Wonderful indoor/outdoor restaurant, clean rooms, very friendly staff. My stay was excellent. Only one night, but I wish it had been more. "
