"On arrival noticed air con not working in room spoke with Sophie on reception who said that she would get maintenance to come and sort it out. Reminded about an hour later “yes, all in hand” Went out for the evening, came back and you guessed it, not been sorted, boiling hot and not helped by being on the top floor. "This is my favourite budget-friendly hotel to stay at in the UK. This is my second stay and this time it was during a heatwave, so I really appreciated the a/c. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The showers are powerful, the beds could be more comfortable, but they will do. "Shame we're not local or will visit Wendover again anytime soon, as we'd stay here again, no hesitation. Great location right in the middle of the town. Secure carpark. Lovely room, great size, neat, clean, can't fault it. Very helpful manager and staff. Breakfast choice was great.
