"Air-conditioning non functional gave up in end Bathroom a bit musty fan not working Which seems to be normal in hotels these days Was very busy so staff seemed a bit short at times 2 cleaners arguing in lift lobby so we had to wait for lift until they had finished Been here before don't think will be back a third trip Not for the price we paid"

"Check in was straightforward as I’d already paid. Room was very basic but clean and tidy. Shower, sink and toilet were all clean and there were plenty of towels. The large bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Tea and coffee were provided. All in all, a good stay. Thank you."

"Got to the property late (as pre arranged) and managed to locate the reception person after finding the emergency number. Room was clean but a little tired looking apart from a new thick carpet. Facilities generally good but no plug sockets next to the bedside tables. I am a CPAP user so had to have the power lead running from the desk area on one side of the room to the bedside table on the other side creating a trip hazard across the floor."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. When you entered, the first thing that greets you is the fresh smell. Everything was so clean. Greeted by a staff member who spoke like he was in the ritz hotel. Old fashioned customer service. Wonderful! Room was clean, even the toiletries in the bathroom were good quality. Restaurants nearby. So pleased that we found this gem! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

"Lift out of order. Pool spa out of order. Room and bathroom very tired. Room layout was like something was missing. Bed uncomfortable. Only upside was free water and 2 packets of biscuits."

"Breakfast and evening meal were really good - and reasonably priced too. The menus for the evening meal included specials, bistro and restaurant. So much choice."

"The code for the wasn’t sent to me, but a phone call fixed that. There are no staff so everything is done by phone or message. Car park is nearby and reasonable. The room was fine with a good shower although it smelt as if someone had been smoking on the landing (not the room) Breakfast is very basic, toast, yoghurt Nescafé and cereals. But that was ok. It’s fine for two nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay for a lot longer. Good value overall if basic. "

"On arrival at the Hamilton was greeted by five other guests who also found their key codes wouldn't let you in to the property! After calling the number provided on the email we all received we were able to ascertain the code for the door wasn't the same as the one for our rooms, as this wasn't clear on our 1st emails!! This information wasn't given to me until a later email... The room was however clean ish but found the bed was of poor standard, with also to be found the toilet roll holder to...
