"We enjoyed staying in the property. We had a car and can visit all the Lake District attractions from the location. The view of the hotel was superb and manage to take some nice snaps. English Breakfast was included and the hospitality was superb. I faced flush issue with the toilet but the hotel has resolved the issue within quick turnaround time. "Me and my husband arrived for our honey moon. Nothing was too much bother for the staff who were very helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy perhaps a little bit dated as in carpets and decor. The parking facilities were good, plenty of free available bays. The gardens and views from our room were fantastic. We made us of the tennis court which was again free. "Very Scottish decor’ for some reason. Staff were over worked and doing multiple jobs as best as they could and as quickly as they good. Tending bar, taking orders, waiting on tables - just one person! They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything.
