"Sende was extraordinary. We loved our quiet cottage in the forest but also being able to access town in a short walk. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was pleasant. "The property is beautiful and you definitely get the sounds of the ocean. Disappointing that the pool closes at 6pm as there isn't much else to do in the evening unless you leave the property. Seems like a miss as there are mostly adults here."

"Amazing included breakfast - enjoyed trail to Falls inside property - 15 min - loved to hang out in the morning on the private patio with hammock. Enjoyed our swim in the hotsprings - not very hot - enjoyed by our biys 10 and 14 ages. A mini Tabacon Springs i must say - beautiful! "

"This place is pretty special. It is a small, low key resort. My son wanted to stay close to the pool, so we stayed in a standard room. The room wasn't great. The beds were hard, it could use a refresh, the air conditioner was loud, and there was no soundproofing. If we had picked one of the bungalows or treehouses, I likely would have given the place 5 stars. It is a nice alternative away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but still close to lots of attractions. "

"Great, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds, including their own nature trail. Great view of surrounding mountains and calories from an expansive balcony that is used for the breakfast area as well as for lounging. It overlooks a small garden where you are guaranteed to see lots of hummingbirds. The furnishings are a bit old but everything is clean and tidy. Our room had its own private balcony. "
