"The ocean view was great; however, despite the resort pictures showing you could walk right out onto the beach and access the water, you could not because of the sargassum seaweed. There was a dock for water and boat access. Our room was sufficient, but the entire resort was a little run-down. We went without water one day, and went without hot water for two whole days. Most mornings, we woke up to noise from the construction that was going on. The restaurant closed early because it was slow, so...

"The staff are friendly and eager to assist you with anything you need.
The resort is very far north of town and the ride is not easy. The beach was unusuable due to Sargassum. We were there for 3 nights and only once did we see a couple of young men trying to clear the beach but they made ZERO impact. The smell is awful.
The accommodations are dark and dated. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 bath second floor unit. My kids said the smaller bedroom was like a prison cell. Very dark and bland and...
