Great location & lovely rooms. As on our last visit, service is a bit hit & miss.

This is the epitomy of a five star hotel. Beautiful rooms, excellent dining, a fantastic breakfast buffet, and a golf buggy to ferry your luggage. Two lovely swimming pools with plenty of loungers. And nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was included despite us not specifically ordering a B&B rate. Just seven minutes drive from Mystras archeological site.

Lovely hotel in a great forest location. Comfortable room with good facilities. Atmosphere slightly austere. Food excellent - service better at dinner than breakfast.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, very clean good sized apartment, with a nice patio next to the pool, quiet area a bit of a walk from the old town, plenty of private secure parking

Amazing rooms! The decor was extraordinary and the location fantastic.

Lovely stay. Great breakfast, although you are only allowed 1 coffee otherwise you pay which seems strange. Very luxurious pool area. Everywhere very clean and well maintained. Hardly a scuff on any wall. Pool beautifully clean.

Perfect. Very comfortable, excellent location, amazing host. Wonderful hot tub and beautiful views. Beds very comfortable and every amenity you would need.

Incredible place to stay. The most beautifully restored small hotel that makes for a very special and unique experience. The owner, Efes, could not have been more friendly and hospitable. The nicest hotel breakfast we’ve had in ages. All of the Kalamata old town charm is right on the doorstep too.

We stayed here for 2 weeks (in Sept 2015) after reading other excellent reviews about this hotel and hence we had high expectations ... were are very pleased to say that our stay at the Amfitriti has surpassed even our highest expectations !! Firstly the hotel is of a very high standard, tasteful modern decoration (which we prefer to traditional) and very well maintained by the owners. Our room (the Orion room) had a lovely balcony facing down over the old town and harbour, again tasteful...

Just came back from an amazing stay at Horizon Blu in Kalamata. On arrival we were told our room had been upgraded and that we had been given a superior suite which was absolutely gorgeous and made the holiday so special. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated with an outdoor pool and spacious balcony. The staff at the hotel were fantastic: helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They helped us arrange a sea kayaking excursion and made sure I had soya milk available at...

This hotel is perfectly located on the sea front with outstanding views and a short walk from the wonderful old town. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, the room clean and comfortable and the staff charming and helpful.
