"The Galway Bay hotel has a lot of seaside hotel charm, a return to seaside resort vibes from decades past. The hotel works hard to provide a premium experience. Our only complaint is that with warm weather, the rooms become too warm."

"Beautiful hotel and a good choice for golfing. However, compared to other 5 star hotels we stayed at in Ireland over our one week trip, service and amenities at this hotel are mediocre and value is not as good. Reception staff seem to be many summer student-age and can be better trained and more willingly helpful. Some are friendly and helpful but not all. Main restaurant seems to be very well managed and food was good. Loved Galway and will go back, but will likely look for another hotel."

"This hotel is centrally located right on the strip so you are close to all of the fun. Our room faced away from the street and was 2 flights up from the bar downstairs which was great as it was quiet when we went to bed. The missing amenities are really AC and options for breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat on the street. Parking can also be an issue but they have multiple places that can be used but you may need to walk. AC would have been great as we were there during a heat...

"This property would have easily obtained five stars however parking was a major problem. Because we were on a 24 night day we had lots of luggage and the only spots available for unloading luggage. We’re taking by buses so we had to park in the parking lot designated for the train, which was very full and put us a long way from the front desk other than that this place was awesome"

"Located right outside the door of The Quay Pub. Location was great and the added bonus of the coupon for the parking was great. The room was small but fine. The beds and pillows could do with an upgrade. The pillows were so soft I needed 3 and the bed was 4” thick and on a hard board underneath. The bathroom was clean, the towels could be upgraded as they seemed a bit grey. Overall an ok stay."

"We stayed in the hotel on a very, very warm day, so the rooms can get hot and uncomfortable. The staff relocated us to a room with AC, due to health concerns, but in general, there rooms are only cooled by a small desk fan. The staff were helpful and accommodating and we enjoyed the complimentary drink tickets and breakfast."
