"This spacious apartment was in a perfect location for us -- within a 20-minute walk (or a 5-10-minute tram ride) to the museums, canal tour, and other sights at the top of our list, and quiet at night, away from the ruckus closer to Centraal Station. There is a terrific food hall on the same block, as well as access on the same block in the other direction. "Our room was perfect size, clean, bed very comfortable, cleaning staff good and helpful. Reception book in and out was quick and helpful. Information and taxi booking very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable and sufficient, although the hot food we would have preferred a bit hotter. Staff were friendly and efficient, seated quickly. Gluten free was catered for and lots of choices. One member of staff, Angela Hang, was very helpful with my gf and also very professional, efficient and lovely to talk too. The only problem that we encountered was at breakfast on the Thursday. We felt invisible, seated quickly no problem there, took a while to be asked for our drinks order, was busy so understood, took my gf order. We were not asked for our egg order and could not get their attention, had to as for more milk twice and gave up and went to get. The lad did apologise about the milk. When asked when we left if all was okay I did say and write a comment on what happened. Very apologetic and a note and fruit was sent to our room apologising plus free drinks at the bar. That was nice and it was the only because of 1 member of staff I couldn’t fault the rest. The hotel could not have been more apologetic. Our stay was here was very good and we would return."

"Great little hotel on one of the canals. Super easy to get to with the tram and rideshare. Bright, clean, great staff. Tons of things to do if you get to the corner and go left, towards downtown, or if you turn right towards the Rijks museum. Food, art, shops, art, bikes, art, coffee, art, music, art… and more art. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. Great drinks at the bar, and fries! Breakfast was great as well, has all the requirements and a few very local flavors."

"Have to say the main thing about it is the location which could not be bettered. I had a single attic room with a fabulous view of the city particularly in the evening with all the lights. The staff were exceptionally helpful and considering this whilst at the lower end of the budget for central Amsterdam hotels I could not fault it. While the room was only compact it had an excellent bathroom wardrobe facilities and was absolutely fine. I would not hesitate to come back again but in future would definitely try to stay mid week rather than weekend where the price is significantly less"
