We were notified a few hours before we checked into the Castaway resort they moved us to another resort the Sea Dip because of a broken pipe in the resort we booked. They offered the new place for the same price. It was still beach front room but the resort they put us in was under renovation. room was ok. Property was fair. I’m sure once the remodel is done it will be much better. Even with the half painted walls / paper masking tape in the elevator / blocked off parking area / I don’t think the price was even. The room wasn’t very clean but clean enough to just sleep in. Shower curtain needs to be changed out. The fridge stopped working and Ice melted all over the floor. We cleaned it up. The room was a non smoking room but you can definitely tell someone had smoked in it before. I notified the company of the smoke smell and broken fridge. So I wouldn’t be charged. They said thank you. I don’t know what the castaway resort room was like since we didn’t stay there. But the outside looked nicer than the sea dip.

Pool wasn't heated. Lady at the office told me it was before i booked. Hvac system in the room kept changing temps on its own. And we killed 6 cockroaches in the 2 nights we stayed there.

Such a great location to the amazing pool and access to the Beach. Loved the 1st floor room. Building is older and noise level isn't well insulated but I would stay there again. The second bed needs to be updated. Thanks

The only problem I had was coming to the hotel with the bathtub dirty but 2 days later someone came to clean it the building and pool was overall in good conditions there was high tide so we didn’t get much beach time but the pool was in great condition very clean everyone is nice here the bed was very stiff but I would recommend the staff was beyond understanding and I would definitely come here again in the near future

The bad reviews must have been during the rebuild from the hurricanes and of course northerners lol. We found the property to be beautiful with a new courtyard and swimming pool. Great amenities like laundry area, game/arcade room and even a breakfast/lunch diner. The staff at the desk is extremely helpful and greeting. Very quiet as well with many of the other people owning their units. Beach access was extremely convenient right from the pool and required a key to come back in for added security to the area. Will definitely visit again and possibly buy a unit(Condotel) as an investment.

Blacked out screen plugged in maybe lightingstorms

The only problem I had is no TV for now 4 days upon check in the 10th TV not coming on the said cuz you never notified them soon enough the can't replace TV they won't compensate or extend stay they gave a new Roku remote it proven screen does not come the licenced electrician even said the TV blew could been all the storms maybe lighten hit it idk but new remote works old remote send it signal no picture no sound

The pictures and description was nothing that was advertised. I would never stay here ever again. The service was horrible the place was disgusting. Don’t come here it’s terrible I’ve paid less for more

Check in information was never emailed to me. We needed to contact the property owner/manager to get the information on the way there. Next day, room service tried to come in and asked if we were not supposed to be checked out. But we still had two more nights to stay. Then the second day one couple tried to open our door while we were in the room. They insisted that the room is theirs as if we were not supposed to be in the room. The management assigned them to our room while we still had one night to stay. Check in time is 4 pm but the management leaves the property at 5pm and the property is locked after 5pm. If you want to check in after 5pm, you have to wait outside till some other guests come out the door and you have to ask them to let you in. The check out time is 9am which I find it very early. The property is not dirty but very outdated. There are lots of wear and tear. AC in the room does not work well and very loud. Since it does not work well, it's running all the time and it never stops to keep the room at a decent temperature.

Good place to book if you’re looking for a bargain. Beachfront property. No bugs or pests seen. Just don’t expect a large luxurious room on a small budget and you’ll be pleased. Having to use a key each time you want to come up from the beach (instead of a gate with a code) was a huge inconvenience for us, especially when they only provide one key. If half only want to go to the beach and other half wants to go out to dinner…only one group will have a key to get back in. Only half of the messages I sent to the host was answered. Keurig didn’t work, was told replacement would be brought to us but that never happened. Overall it was a pleasant stay with a beautiful view from our balcony

The room wasn't that bad, quite good equipped with a stove and microwave. BUT although it should have been a smoke free area, some folks were smoking in their rooms and the air was transported to our room via A/C. Furthermore, the ground floor was dusty and not well cleaned. Thin windows didn't keep the street noise outside of the building.

When I made the reservation there were lovely photos of the pool and the beach. Everything is under construction. No pool and no access to the beach. When I contacted the contact it was pretty much who cares. The pool was not listed in the amenities yet is the prominent photo showcasing the property. It clearly states walk to beach. We couldn't enjoy our television because the unit next to us had theirs blasting. The bed is obviously so used that when you go to sit it literally sinks several inches. I travel quite a bit and I have never left a bad review. My needs were minimal, just a place to stay while work was being done at our home. Even the Keurig didn't work!!! I think if my concerns would have been addressed in a professional manner I would have let it go. There should be compensation due to the misrepresentation of the property. I would never recommend this property. As stated in the previous sentence I should be compensated for no pool and no beach access which were clearly depicted in the photos. Expedia should be ashamed.

This property is no a hotel, I couldn’t stay there because their were anyone at the reception, there is not customer service phone number after hours, this is the worst experience and expedía wash their hands, they only care about your money and they don’t help you
