"The property is a little bit dated, but it is extremely clean. We did not have a lot of road noise, even though it's right there in vancouver on a busy road. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We don't come over often from vancouver island but when we do have to come to vancouver again, we will definitely be staying here again."

"We booked a room over looking the water and western Vancouver. The view was fantastic. Well worth the extra money. the hotel is at a fantastic location, surrounded by trendy restaurants in walking distance. The room is spacious and clean. and the self parking next to the hotel is expensive but very convenient. However, the staff at the front desk when we checked in was kind of cold and stern. and did not mention the $50 beverage credit that we should have got. That was very disappointing and...

"just had one hiccup. When we opened the microwave there was a leftover noodle cup container. I’m not sure how long was it there. Everything else are great! "

"We went down for a Canucks game for my son’s 11th birthday and stayed here. I had emailed the concierge prior to our stay about our plan. Upon arrival the front desk, valet and bellhop all wished my son a happy birthday and when we entered our room there were Canucks coloured balloons, a pic of the mascot wish him a happy birthday, a cloth cake and even a Canucks scarf. My son was so excited and I was so very touched. It made us feel so special."

"Overall, the hotel and the room was perfect for our family. It would've been nice if there was also a pool and a more casual dining option on site as we have younger kids but its definitely not a deal breaker with so many options nearby. The location is also perfect as it was near a skytrain station and very walkable to most places downtown."
