On arrival, my room was under my husband‘s name so they weren’t going to let me use the reservation. I had to get a manager to approve that I was the wife of the reservation. Once I got into my room, the TV didn’t work. I asked people to come and help me. They promised nobody showed up. They kept telling me to just go through these procedures. Nothing happened. I wish they just would’ve been honest and said you will not have a TV and don’t worry about it and giving me a discount, but there was nothing. The linen in the beds we’re clean and comfortable. But they had 1 ounce containers of shampoo and lotion that I couldn’t use. Thank goodness I had my own. I was not impressed.

The location of this place is really close to a very busy loud road. The hotel is dated, the lights in the room are i sufficient and dim. The a/c works but is extremely loud and so is the fan in the bathroom that goes on along with the light and there is no option to turn it off. I had the worst sleep in a hotel that i ever had and to top it off it was way over priced. Not worth it.

Great room, easy to get to and easy parking. Great location and located 5 minutes from the suspension bridge. Also very clean with a wonderful air conditioner. No complaints. Would stay here again.

Was a really nice affordable place. Great to stay if you are wanting to explore Capilano or north vancouver. It was my mistake that I did not realize this hotel was actually motel styled with outdoor room entrances. Some may not care but it was something I wish I knew beforehand :).

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel was not at all like the pictures shown when we made the reservation. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty and had a strong, unpleasant smell. It caused a significant allergic reaction for both me and my daughter, and we were unable to stay in the room. We had no choice but to find and move to another hotel on the same day. I canceled the reservation, but I have not received my money back. Since we could not stay at the hotel because of the condition of the room and had to pay for another hotel, I believe I should receive a full refund. I would not recommend this hotel, especially to anyone who has allergies or is sensitive to strong odors.

I was in Vancouver for a medical appointment, so not a holiday just short and quick out of necessity . The room just smelled of old cigarette smoke and urine, and there was no microwave. When I called the front desk to inquire about the lack of microwave (dietary restrictions call for me to pack my own meals), I was told a standard room does not come with a microwave but I could use the one in lobby. I did not feel like that is a safe option to be walking around in the dark outside at 5am to use microwave in lobby. So is this the new shrink-flation or just for this particular hotel? Never experienced that before this stay. It is a deal breaker for me. Lastly charging outlets were a premium for this room too, just as a heads up.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had low expectations when seeing it was a motel-style kind of place, but honestly it was a pretty nice place. The rooms were clean and the AC worked well once it got going. The pool was very clean when we went in it and the surrounding area is pretty nice and not too sketchy. It's a quick walk from a grocery store and some nice restaurants and it is easy to find. The staff were very nice and didn't have a problem answering any of our questions, shout out to the older gentlemen that helped us find the ice machine. Over all it's nothing special (if you're looking for the Hamptons this won't be your place) but it gets the job done well and I was happily surprised with my stay. I have already recommended it to my friend who is making a Vancouver trip later in the year!

Location was convenient for morning ferry. Expected more from a Marriott branded hotel - which was actually a 1 star or 2 star MOTEL. Check-in desk was behind large panes of plexiglass - Covid scare era? - not at all welcoming. Door lock mechanism didn’t work (saw others complain as well), parking lot and area felt sketchy. Generally very low budget vibe. Room was clean. Beds were too soft. Main issues were lock issues and general low budget vibe.
