"The hosts are so sweet. Breakfast is very good they will cook eggs and bacon fresh for you. The rooms are very clean with fresh flowers a lovely touch. There is a small bar where you can have nightcap. The area around has lots of restaurants and bars. The square seems a little sketchy but we had no problems and felt very safe. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."
"Check in super easy, staff very nice. Room is nice and clean as well. (Minor things I don’t like personal preference :I don’t like rain showers cause I don’t like to get my very long hair wet and the head is so high you can’t adjust it. The doors are paper thin so you do hear what is going on in the corridor.) That being said I still would come back here again."
"Casa Anabela is in the historic centre of Quito and is walking distance to the Plaza de la Independencia and most of the major attractions in the area. Breakfast has cold and hot options. They make you eggs and coffee to your liking. The bathtub was very relaxing after a long day of travelling and sightseeing. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three."
"We were very happy with our stay at Casona 1914. It's a lovely hotel with Great staff and very spacious and comfortable rooms--and very clean! We were recovering from our arduous trip, and one day we just stayed in the room almost all day, and it felt pleasant. The coffee at breakfast was really good, and there were several choices on the breakfast menu. "This is a fantastic property! It is a small boutique apartment hotel with lovely rooms and a very nice courtyard. Our room was 1000 ft.² with two bedrooms and a kitchen and the living area. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel it is in the heart of the old town - walking distance of the major sites. "
"Staff was very nice and helpful; hotel was secure (front gate locked as well as parking area); good and plentiful breakfast; very cute and quaint hotel charm; no heat in rooms in September so staff brought space heater upon request. We had a car, which we parked on site, location may be hard without a car as it didn’t appear to be an easy walkable location. Overall a very nice and economical stay. Would recommend and also stay again"
