The service at La Posada de Atahualpa was exceptional! Very kind staff, the rooms were clean, and the property itself was beautiful for such a cheap price. Thank you to the wonderful staff at this charming inn!

The staff are so wonderful! The place is clean and fairly quiet. It does not have modern amenities as expected and toiketries lrovided is bare minimum: handsoap and body wash- that’s it. But still get more than what you are paying. I love the place and the staff so will likely use them again

Staff were friendly and helpful - although several of my tours happened at weird early hours and I did not always see desk staff around so I am not sure about the 24/7 detail. Aesthetically it’s charming and authentic, looks just like the photos. Some of my room and bathroom fixtures were a bit worn, but all fully functional. You’re not right in the center of town but it’s an easy walk — about 15 minutes mostly flat. I did not need to use taxis for any of my tourist activities (on arrival and departure because of luggage). Overall, I would say it’s a good value for the rate and would recommend booking here. Plus there was an adorable kitten at reception while I was staying!
