"Breakfast was a mess. Several items were out, even the coffee. When the lady brought the coffee out, she seemed upset that we asked for it to be refilled. It had grounds in the coffee, not drinkable."
"Nice place. I recommend staying here. On one of the busiest street in Sante Fe, but in a good way. The rooms are set back from the busy road–some farther than others–but I did not hear traffic either night. It's convenient to stores and restaurants and downtown/old town. There is breakfast buffet that costs more, and they will charge you an extra 15 on your bill for it, so you might as well eat there if you can."
"Amazing stay! Loved the decor and design aesthetic, the complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious, and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful place with great vibes at an affordable price. Will definitely be back when I'm back in the area!"
"I've stayed at El Rey many times, and I always enjoy it. The rooms are large and smartly decorated, there are many fun events that regularly occur on the property, and everything is well maintained. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, although the bartenders at La Reina seem to favor local patrons and can sometimes be aloof. The La Reina Mesita foodtruck is a bit hit-or-miss, but is nonetheless convenient. Overall, it's a fun place with great amenities and is centrally-located. Definitely recommend!"
