"We really enjoyed our stay here at The Oakes Hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the view of the falls from the premium falls room was amazing!! We did wish that breakfast would have been provided, and we thought the $50 daily parking fee at the hotel was rather high for paying guests. "

"Stayed with a friend and we really enjoyed all the staff we ran into. The woman at check-in was super nice (Go Jays!) They refreshed our room while we were out without asking. Towels were missing when we checked in but we called and they brought some right up. We asked for a quiet room and I think they did the best they could, but there were kids staying beside us and above us and we could hear them through the walls and ceiling. Parking isn't included, but its inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area. Other reviewers mention being surprised by the fee, but if you click on the property details it explains the fee - same with every other hotel on expedia. Every hotel in Niagra charges for it. Didn't use the amenities but because the room was decent and the staff was great, we'll be back, and will be sure to explore the hotel more. Thanks!"

"Wasn't happy when we checked i , they lost of reservation and it took over half an hour to get it figured out. Even showing them email confirmationThey kept saying that they didn't have it. Checkout was horrible. The lady refused to listen to what I had to say.Because we had booked two rooms.But checked out of one a day earlier, and she wouldn't refined the car even though I was told that I would get that back at the end of my stay. The lady was extremely rude and unwilling to help.She kept interrupting me when I was trying to talk. The pool was great, boston pizza was great and where the dance competition was.Held was good. It got very hot in there.So maybe the air needs to be turned on Sooner."

"It was nice experience we got a new room with falls view. But I had to pay extra to upgrade my room. I already bought a falls view room, but it seems that view had some interruptions as advised by check-in lady. I just think that this kind of hotels anticipate some additional charges for upgrade always. so keep that in mind, but you don’t need to upgrade if you don’t have to. They charge me $70 for an upgrade. But the room was having a nice big window with all view for all the falls including the rainbow bridge."
