"Even though the property is outside of the tourist area, the local bus, line 401, picks up and drops off almost exactly in front of the property. I enjoyed having access to a washing machine and dryer (5€ for a load to wash, 5€ for a load to dry). On my first morning, I had the breakfast at the hostel, however I did not feel like it was worth paying 8€. I’d recommend going to O’Connors bakery, a 5 min walk from the hostel instead. "This was a lovely large room in a stately home tucked away from the lively Salt Hill seaside promenade. Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. There was not a tea kettle in the room, but the house offered use of a large communal kitchen where some guests apparently cooked dinner (based on cleaned dishes drying...

"We were so happy to see that this lovely space had room for us when we had to make some last minute travel changes! The owner was kind and happy to help us out with parking or directions. "The location is very close to the eyre square , the bus station and many restaurants, they have a bar a small breakfast and coffee shop. It is a little noisy at night but if you wear your earplugs you should be fine."
