"Very walkable to area locations. Historically old but cleanest place I think I have ever stayed. Remember that many places don't have AC and this is one but fans in rooms with full length window open to balcony in our room. Narrow stairway to rooms if that means anything to anyone. Was fine for us. Breakfast was buffet style, tasty and we still had personal attention with refills, etc. Host made sure we had transportation to the cruise port."

"This was the most attentive and beautiful guest house I have ever stayed in. The owner is so kind and accommodating, and the room and common areas are impeccable and unique. The Victoria King room truly has its own private sunroom and terrace. I almost didn't want to leave the guest house to see the sights because the room is so comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen amenities are great and there are grocery stores within 3 minutes by foot. I met wonderful and kind guests and even made friends....

"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."
