"We had a really enjoyable stay at Townend Farm and Julie was extremely helpful booking a meal at the Tiger Inn and also giving us information about local bus services The breakfast was a really good standard and cooked perfectly . Our only concern was that the rooms were on the second floor with steep staircases which made it difficult to carry suitcases and to access the rooms.Perhaps it might be worth pointing out on the website Thankyou Julie for a lovely stay "

"To say it was above a pub it was very quiet, the room looks like it’s just been refurbed, Room 3, new toilet, shower etc. the breakfast choice was great and quality second to none. The staff were great, there when you needed them, out of sight when you didn’t. Very homely feel and will 100% book again. "Ben, Jackie and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nice outdoor areas and good food. The hotel is conveniently located for a day at Redcar races. The parking was good as the car park is huge. The shower was somewhat disappointing as it was merely more than a trickle. Overall, a great weekend with family and friends, we booked 7 rooms."

"the room was spotlessly clean the guy(staff)on the desk was very helpful in telling us were to park as theres no carpark attached to the hotel .we had tp pay for parking on a carpark over the road .the location is spot on as its practically on sea front and on main row of bars and shops .the bed was really comfy and peaceful no noise at all .enjoyed our stay "
