The girl on the phone, Kianna, assured me I would be able to come in late, after the office closed at 9pm. (What motel closes their office at 9pm on a Saturday night??!!?!)
She said room #2 would be open and the key inside. But… THE DOOR WAS LOCKED when I got there at 12am. The lights were off and the curtains drawn. The next room had lights on and a key visible on the dresser, but that door was locked too. There is NO CELL SERVICE in this area so I couldn’t even look for a room somewhere else.
So after working all day at an event in the Catskills, I had to sleep in my car until daylight. Unforgivable. They say this is an “event venue” as well as an inn - they can’t even let their guests into rooms that are paid for, I can only imagine how they would ruin someone’s wedding.
Oh and they DONT ANSWER THE PHONE not even now, 8:30am the next morning, so who knows when I’ll be able to reach someone to now start the process of trying to get my money back. Lazy, incompetent, INHOSPITABLE.
