"Enjoyable stay at this very comfortable hotel. Centrally located but wonderfully quiet. Delightful staff member who greeted us warmly on arrival and made sure we had some breakfast prepared to take with us for an early flight. Blissfully comfortable bed. A shame we could only stay for the briefest of times as we found ourselves very happy here. Highly recommended."

"The DH Lawrence Hotel is amazing. The architectural design and engineering to create such an extraordinary hotel within a centuries old building in such a confined location is incredible. Rooms, staff, service, food, all of the highest standard, I feel privileged to have stayed there"

"La camera molto bella e pulita. Posizione eccellente. Colazione ottima e servizio al piano impeccabile. Come l'accoglienza alla reception. In particolare un ragazzo veramente gentile. Se proprio devo trovare una pecca, in sala colazione c'era una ragazza bruna piuttosto agitata. Qualsiasi cosa le si chiedesse sembrava si disturbasse. "
