MCM Motel
A very warm and friendly welcome, 2 bedroom apartment was immaculate; it is on the corner of Madras and Bealey (very busy) but even though we are light sleepers, we slept like logs. Highly recommend and would happily stay again. Off street parking was great.

Novotel Christchurch Airport
Room was clean, organized. Closest to the airport and there are buses going downtown/the city which you can use your tap credit/debit card if you don't have the metro card (i think $3/ride) The whole hotel is clean and organized. Nice amenities. Helpful staffs and they have a luggage weighing scale ...
