"Wevhad a one night stop over to visit relatives. Found the hotel clean, tidy and relaxing. Parking was very good, rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good for the overall price. We will book again "

"Did not have breakfast, but evening meal was good. Room was okay but for the three nights we stayed we didn’t get bed made or tea/coffee replenished or the small bin emptied. As for the noise from people using rooms above us it was a nightmare (do not choose room 3) Was not impressed "

"Lovely hotel the only downside which I had not realised was breakfast started at 8 and we needed to leave at 730. The staff were lovely and provided us with cereal and milk the night before. We eat in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival and the food was excellent."

"Set in a wonderful location. Close to Frome. Helpful team. Hotel a bit dated but lovely gardens and room."

"We were told by the lady at the front desk that we had a free dinner with our stay, but the restaurant in the hotel said we did not. However, we were charged for the stay with that amenity and it was never received. Therfore, we essentially paid for our dinner twice."

"On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of. I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses. The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly. The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....

"Lovely pub but incredibly busy so there were long waits for drinks and food Stay slightly marred by very noisy drinkers right outside our room until 00.50hrs Great area to stay for Bath Racecourse and visiting the white horse"
