A lovely hotel , we had a deluxe room , the bed was comfortable , breakfast incl. which was great. It’s a short walk out to the main road, and about 10 mins from old town, the staff is excellent , it’s quiet and clean. Pretty spot to stay.

Melia Chiang Mai
The spa was the best part of the stay. Very organized and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. This hotel is far from 5 star if that’s the experience you’re looking for. But if you have kids and want a relaxed family vibe - this is the place for you.

Centara Riverside Hotel Chiang Mai
The pool was not as pictured, looked to be part of the deck under construction. Advertising Spa but no massage. Seems to be lack of employees. Okay for a quick night stay

Shangri-La Chiang Mai
The room was very nice and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the pool was amazing BUT the people….the people are above and beyond. Especially Pat at the concierge desk. Words cannot describe, just go!

No idea how this hotel got a 9.2 rating other than how centrally located it is in the old city. First room was musty and had no windows, paid 500 baht a night on site for upgrade, the next room was better but bed was like sleeping on sheet of plywood. I prepaid 2 night but only stayed for 1. This resort is an excellent option when visiting Chiang Mai. Conveniently located. Great staff. Fantastic breakfast. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom and shower excellent. Highly recommended.
