"Had a one night stay with children.Rooms were spacious we had 2 family rooms Linnen was clean and fresh.Bathroom was clean all beit a bit dated. The staff make this place great everyone was very helpful nothing was too much trouble.We had dinner and breakfast and we were all coeliac they had options for choice The price was very budget friendly. Great budget stay in good location"

"The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. Staff were helpful although it took some time to knowledge us on arrival. They were really helpful when I phoned to make an enquiry prior to arrival. "The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"

"This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic.
