"I picked Sapaxa as I wanted to experience Sapa much closer to nature. There are only 8 cottages so it is such an itimate vibe. Mua really helped with everything that you need and really my made my stay so much better. The bed is one of the most comfortable bed you'll ever sleep on! "The hotel needs a makeover! The pictures profiled are not current as the hotel is quite run down. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, there was a big gap above the door out to the balcony, the shower had no drain so the water ran from the shower across the bathroom to a hole in the floor by the toilet. You could hear the people in the rooms adjacent and also anyone in the hallway. On a side note the hotel is set back from the main road so it dampened the street noise somewhat. I am sure back in the day it was a lovely hotel but it needs some work to return the grandeur. "
