"Excellent! 10/10; no notes. The accommodations were exceptionally clean (even by my very high standards - literally not a speck of dirt anywhere) and very modern. The breakfast was very good, with an excellent selection of sliced fruit. I normally douse my scrambled eggs with Tabasco (which was available), but the eggs were so tasty I didn’t need it. The pancakes were good as well, and not too sweet (there were also plenty of cornetti and other options as well for those with a sweeter tooth). The made to order coffee was wonderful, and the barista very kindly offered to make me another cappuccino. But above all, the staff are so warm and friendly. From the barista at breakfast, to Giovanni at the front desk, everyone is so incredibly kind. Giovanni went above and beyond! He gave us a wonderful orientation of the town, and when we checked in, he noticed it was my mom’s birthday; when we returned from our afternoon outing there was a very pleasant surprise gift of mixed beverages in my parent’s room! So warm and welcoming! We were truly treated like family. This will definitely be my go to place for any future trips to Firenze!"

"IQ Hotel Firenze is my favorite hotel in Italy! The staff goes beyond my expectations in every way. The breakfast buffet is amazing in quantity and quality. The location is perfect, central to both the Duomo and the mercato centrale. "

"Lovely hotel in a great location. The rooftop bar area offers amazing views, especially in the evening for sunset. We also had some of the best drinks of our trip there! We were travelling with back packs across many different cities in Italy so the free laundrette facilities were a super helpful surprise! The room was clean overall the hotel was great, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Breakfast was also really good. There were some lovely little restaurants very close by offering pasta and pizza, both very tasty! Highly recommend this hotel and will likely look for more of their hotels in other countries when travelling!"

"This is fine hotel central in Florence. Easy access from airport tram. And walking distance to “everything”. The staff were helpful, and smiling. Our balcony with a view to the hills was very nice. If we were forced to mention a negative, it would be a “mechanical noise” coming from above the room."

"The hotel was overall decent, with a good breakfast and very hardworking staff in the breakfast area who were constantly attentive and helpful. Check-in took quite a long time, and unfortunately one front desk staff member came across as rude, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, it was a pleasant enough stay."

"Here’s a polished version that keeps your tone but reads a little smoother: I believe we upgraded for the breakfast, and honestly, unless you’re paying for the convenience, I wouldn’t recommend it. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth it when there are much better and very inexpensive options close by. The room also wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. It lacked simple things like tissues and a shower cap, and the patio and bathroom walls were never cleaned during our stay. That said, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location near the train station could definitely be helpful depending on your needs."

"Nice to have a safe and refrigerator. Breakfast had a nice choice but the room was small and you had to sign up for a time. Shower was so tiny that you couldn’t bend over and had no light. Bed had no blanket- just a sheet."
