The accommodations and the staff were amazing! My only negative from the whole stay is when taking a shower. The hot water is so limited I barely got soaked up and the water was cold. Other than that everything was fantastic!

Great location next to the Duomo Piazza, room clean but the courtyard looks shabby and dirty, access to the room somewhat complicated (like getting to the escape room with 3 different boxes) and room very small. Walking distance to restaurants but no parking unless you park at the paid city parking behind the Piazza di Duomo.

Amazing location, confortable for a short stay

We stayed for three nights. The location was perfect. You step out of the door just a few steps from Piazza del Duomo, the epicentre of Catania. (Fyi there are around 23 steps up to the property). The room was comfortable for a short stay. Our room had quite a soft bed, which wasn’t great for my back but some may like it. We had Room 1, which had two high up windows with no views, (apart from scaffolding). It felt a bit claustrophobic but again, it was a short stay so was fine. There was some noise but not too bad considering where we were. Our bathroom was adapted for disabled people, (which we thought was odd, considering the fairly steep 23 steps up to the property), so the wetroom shower was a good size with plenty of hot water. Dario was helpful and my email communications were quickly responded to. I’d recommend Cataneasy Rooms for the excellent location and clean, nicely but simply decorated rooms.
