"It is next to the motorway but that didn't stop us sleeping. It is very basic but clean and friendly. We had a room at the top. Initially we are given an upgrade to a room with a sauna but someone had been smoking in it. After breakfast on two days we spent a lovely time on the terrace with me playing on my computer and my wfe painting. Not far the motorway! Served us well"

"The room had everything we needed, nice clean/modern bathroom, good bed. The dining experience was wonderful, the food was very good, breakfast and dinner. Staff was great and fun, and the owner is a pretty cool dude! The walking trail on the property, about a mile long, was very fun and weird and I loved it most of all. Great large outdoor area for lounging, reading, dining."

"Very disappointing experience. In my personal experience, the service did not match the price paid. On my last day, I raised my concerns calmly, but the management responded in a very unprofessional way, including disrespectful comments. The situation became very stressful. The swimming pool was often crowded with outside visitors, with not enough sunbeds for hotel guests. I was told sunbeds needed to be reserved in advance, but this was not clearly stated anywhere. "Lovely hotel with large open air pool and surrounding area. Delicious food, helpful staff and good size room for two people. Slightly away from town but hotel offers a shuttle service for most trips into town. It is walkable but depends on the weather as the heat can make it tough going. Thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay."

"Staying here was an awesome experience, if even for a day. We arrived late in the evening and the owner Mario was so very accommodating and informative. We stayed in the side house, an interesting property with its centuries-old design. We could feel the history in every room. It was very comfortable, very roomy and the amenities made us feel right at home. The drive up may intimidate some (if during at night), as it winds up the mountain side, but staying there is well worth it. Thank you Mario...

"Sehr schönes Hotel, kleine Abstriche gibt es für das Frühstück (Auswahl nicht groß, für z.B. Pancakes muss man extra bezahlen). Außerdem sind extrem viele Stechmücken, durch die tägliche Zimmerreinigung gelangen auch immer wieder welche ins Zimmer."

"This was a gem to find. We decided to extend our stay and the staff were very accommodating. The history of the villa is incredible and even more interesting that it is still with the original family. A huge sense of pride and passion is palpable from the current owners. Breakfast on the loggie and drinks in the garden was awesome."
