Pretty property but services overstated. None of the staff spoke English. They were unable to process credit cards but didnt tell us that when we checked in. Had to walk all over town looking for ATM to check out. Person in room under us had TV full volume until after midnight. Called front desk they did not address the situation. They seemed understaffed. Restaurant was not great.

Don’t stay here!

Very poorly maintained hotel; towels with holes in, handles that fell off drawers when you opened them, blankets as heavy as carpets, receptionists that were cold minimally helpful and sometimes stern - very unfriendly. A beautiful building, but a disastrously run hotel. Don’t stay there.

had a twin not the double we had ordered, restaurant was out of a lot of the choices, the style was antiquated which is nice, but everything seemed very tired, plumbing was smelly, the restaurant and foyer decor was really good.

Nothing good about this hotel

1st room with foul, mold smell. 2nd room bathroom fixtures leaked, night lamp not working, no elevator for suitcases, parking too tight, on Monday no restaurant service, breakfast too expensive for eggs bread coffee and pastries. Tv with a column in the middle of the screen for your enjoyment.

Hidden treasure

An unexpected and fabulous surprise nestled in the heart of Carmona. Definitely going to be our new bolthole each time we pass. Always subjective, but this shabby grandiose palace was absolutely perfect for us.

A really characterful place to stay. A great location and one of the most unusual I have stayed at. Faded grandeur sums it up; it may not to be everyone's taste, but it had charm and comfort in spadefuls.

Bonjour je suis déçu car je me suis fait arnaquer : lors de ma commande réservation sur internet le prix était de 74 euros. Quand nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel il nous a été facturés 54,72 euros de plus sans que nous ayons changé quoi que ce soit , je pensais que les 74 euros n'était pas prélevé mais ce n'est pas le cas : donc je vous demande de le faire. Mais de toute façon je vais en informer les instances de régulation des achats sur internet. Un client pas content

Inget bra hotell. Mycket som inte fungerade. Lampor fattades. Altandörr som inte gick att stämgsa. Vi hade bokat två rum. Det ena rummet gick inte att sova i, för det luktade kloak, och lampan i garderobsdörren ( glasdörrar) gick inte att släcka. Våra goda vänner dov inte en blund.Hur kan detta hotell ha 5 stjärnor. Aldrig mer.

Magnifique hôtel au charme d’hier...

À l’arrivée, un petit problème de timing. Notre chambre n’était pas prête (il était 19h...). Notre hôte franchement affectée a tout fait pour se rattraper, nous offrant le petit déjeuner et faisant tout pour se faire pardonner ! La mésaventure étant sans gravité évidemment nous a faits sourire... notre séjour dans une très belle chambre a été à la hauteur de nos espérances !

I stort behov av renovering.

Byggt 1514 -fantastiskt! Men i mycket stort renoveringsbehov. Fick först ett rum på 3:e vån., hissen sönder/obefintlig, som luktade så illa att vi bytte rum. Dragigt, kallt. Badrummet liksom inbyggt i rummet, utan fönster eller ventilation. Flagnande målarfärg o eluttag som hängde ut. Men sängen rätt skön..och huset stort o eg. fantastiskt!

A faded quirky gem, lousy staff

The hotel itself is absolute bonkers, feels and looks like Addams family holiday home, so if you like quirky (and we do), you can’t go wrong. It’s full of wonderful nooks and crannies, and hidden gardens, a joy to explore! In terms of hospitality and comfort, don’t expect too much. We were greeted (an overstatement of the year) by a grumpy man who led us up the steep flight of stairs pointedly ignoring the fact that we were struggling with our luggage. Peeling paint in the room, tired fixtures... still, we were hooked on the quirky vibe and (as I caught a bit of cold and could do with extra day of rest) wanted to spend another night. But the person at reception said indifferently that they were fully booked, although the booking sites showed availability. That did it for us, and we moved 90 yards to another hotel, Alcázar de la Reina and were better off for it!

Quaint and friendly

This was a last minute booking due to some issues with other accommodation. The place is fantastic. Felipe the Mgr. was the friendliest and most accommodating individual you could find. All his recommendations and suggestions were spot on. The place itself is an older home that has been converted and is the most charming place you could ever think of. Well worth the stay.

Speciel luksus hoteloplevelse i gammelt slot.

Fantastisk god oplevelse på dette meget specielle hotel som ligger i et gammelt slot nærmest og med ene forskellige værelser. Fokus på kvalitet lige fra sengetøj til service. Også meget flot udsigt i den charmerende landsby. Også her svingende priser fra høj til lav. Anbefales!
