Friendly and Peaceful

Quiet and beautiful. The Cultivar is a must stay for those looking for some peace and tranquility. Amazing friendly service, with great amenities. Super clean and great breakfast each morning.

We stayed for 2 nights at cultivar. The staff are really friendly and it feels very much like a family business. We didn’t use the pool or grounds as it was cold unfortunately, but they are well kept and the pool looks lovely.

4 adults visiting wineries in Stellenbosch

Cultivar Lodge was lovely! Hotels.com had placed four adults into a 15m2 room, but luckily the lovely staff at Cultivar was able to organise us bigger apartment. The apartment (Pinotage) was just perfect. The view was amazing, room beautifully decorated and customer service excellent! Nevertheless, it is good to understand that there is no food available after 5 pm. The closest winery / restaurant is within 10 min drive and table reservation is needed.

Beautiful, but let down slightly by service

This is a very beautiful spot. The rooms are very comfortable and it's a wonderful place to relax. But we were given very old, threadbare towels. They were immediately replaced when we pointed this out, but they should never have been used in the first place. The breakfast is also adequate rather than anything really appetising. And the service at breakfast was less than friendly.

They had booked a wedding on the day we booked . There was NO notification of this when we booked . We booked this place in the country side for Peace & Quiet. Facilities were limited due to the wedding. Our room was under the wedding reception . Very POOR Disclosure of What is Actually happening !!

Deze guesthouse wordt gerund door een aantal dames die liefde hebben voor de guesthouse. Ze houden het heel netjes en schoon en brengen verbeteringen aan waar nodig. Het ontbijt kan iets beter van kwaliteit en assortiment. De kamers zijn heerlijk met een nespresso apparaat, grote badkamer, goede shampoo en make-up handdoek, aan alle details is gedacht. Iedere kamer heeft een kleine patio waar je heerlijk kunt zitten en genieten van de mooie, goed onderhouden tuin of het uitzicht op het zwembad en de bergen.

Einfach top!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer (Merlot) mit Sicht auf Garten/Pool. Frühstück einfach, aber völlig ausreichend. Zwei Pools im riesigen Garten ein absolutes Highlight. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Super Lage ausserhalb Stellenbosch. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt verlängert, da wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Top Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis!

Wunderbar, mit zwei Pools B-)

Wunderbare Unterkunft nähe Stellenbosch und den Weingütern mit sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeitern. Der schöne grosse Garten mit zwei Aussenpools lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind top, wir kommen wieder!

Mooi verblijf

De tuin is prima. Maar misschien de verste pool alleen voor adults maken …indien er kids zijn lig je nergens rustig lawaai en ze springen in het water en de omliggende stenen worden nat zo ook de spullen die op de grond staan. Ook misschien in de douche ruimte een waslijntje voorzien voor nat badgoed. De eerste dag KRIJG je 2 flesjes water ….waarom de andere dagen niet ..het guesthouse is ni echt goedkoop wat kan dan de andere dagen maken ..zelfs in B&B dat stukken goedkoper is krijg je alle dagen 2 flesjes water
