"Exceptional place"

"Pool was nice. The rest is garbage. The food is reused day to day hardly any alcohol choices no juice limited water none in room no bottle water. You cannot get around easy steep terrain. I got food poisoning so bad that I did not enjoy my trip. Throwing up and the other end dry heaves horrible waisted all this money for truly the worst vacation ever. Why on earth do you sell as an all inclusive. There was hardly anything to eat and the food just sat out all day in the heat."

"This is a new well maintained property across from the airport with shuttle service. Restaurants nearby. Pool area is great. Breakfast was very good."

"We had a great family vacation here! The rooms are nice, food is excellent and location is perfect. Great beach just steps away and the pool was very nice. I would stay here again and recommend to others. Big shout out to Emanuel (Manny) at the Pool Bar. He was super helpful and great to talk with!"

"We stayed for 2 nights. The resort is very cool with a lot of nature right in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are nice. The food is expensive and mostly just okay. There are a lot of activities to do there, but you are a captive audience and excursions are quite expensive. Transportation out there is a bit difficult, be prepared for a long Uber ride. The service at the Sunset Bar was abysmal, the first night we went there they forgot my pizza I had ordered. The second night we went we were there for 45 minutes without someone even coming to give us water so we left and went to the other restaurant. -1 star for that. We did the night walk tour with a guide who was very knowledgeable; however he touched nesting baby Nightjars on the ground which is not only ILLEGAL in Costa Rica but extremely distressing for the bird who wasn't even old enough to fly away. We did not ask him to do this nor encourage it in any way. This was really disappointing for us as nature lovers and shameful for a resort that has signs everywhere reminding people to respect the environment and nature. -1 star for that as I hope it isn't reflective of everyone who works there. The next day we did a bird watching tour with a different guide who was great and we saw a lot of interesting birds and animals. We then went on the hanging bridges without a guide and saw even more animals such as an anteater. Overall it was a really great experience soured a bit by those two negative experiences. "

"Lovely quiet resort, beach ok but not amazing. Reasonable range of activities but not extensive. Our biggest issue was the lack of shade around the pools"
