The staff was friendly and it was a unique and cozy place to stay. 4 stars because sadly one of the main things we came for was the advertised all year round outdoor headed pool. The pool was not heated as advertised and it had a cover on it. Bummer as I thought that was a unique offering but aside from that we enjoyed our stay and the amenities.

The room was spotless and even had refillable water bottles, which you can refill with your choice of flat or sparkling water. The staff was fantastic and the hotel and rooms were clean and modern. We loved relaxing in the library with a roaring fireplace and making complimentary smores kits on the fire pits! Will definitely return.

The room was clean and comfortable. Wonderful view. The only thing I would add is a full length mirror. We went out to dinner every night and really missed having a mirror. Our last day we had breakfast in the room and it was delivered a little later than we wanted but was still delicious.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an exceptional stay at The Lake House on Canandaigua The staff was very welcoming, the rooms spotless and comfortable, and the entire experience was excellent. The pool was sparkling clean and beautifully maintained — perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend this hotel, and we can’t wait to come back!
