We had a fantastic time here. The room was big and comfortable and the resort was beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens. A great place to relax and unwind. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety, catering for a wide range of dietary requirements. The various restaurants offered decent food and a good option if not wanting to venture out in the evening. The staff were all fantastic throughout. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay there again.

Had two weeks stay. Loved Madeira ....hotel was perfect. Did my research regarding the reviews before booking, and went for the B&B only. Some guest that had paid for HB were not happy with the dinners not much choice and not too good! Not many guest for dinner around 23 people! So might be the reason. The Quinta could do with a lick of paint and new carpets but if you are able to see beyond that this place has a great deal going for it. We didn't have a car for our week there and frankly didn't did one. The Quinta has a free minibus for trips into Funchal which we used twice and saved us a fortune on taxis.
