10/10 Excellent

"The room was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the shop was a little expensive but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hotel and the selection of goodies was just right. Breakfast was delicious and the location perfect! Just wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be going back! The only thing to mention is to be warned of ridiculous parking costs! Nothing to do with the hotel as car park was managed separately, but we parked for just under 24 hours and it was £53! Highly recommend the Wilde 👍"

"Great, basic place to stay. I have only ever stayed one night. The gardens are lovely and I particularly like that you can walk to the Plough through the fields (and back via road if dark). Also Blue Diamond garden centre 5 min walk away too. Cambridge park and ride 5 mins in other direction. No breakfast available at Hotel any more. Check in at 4.00pm perhaps the only negative."

"We stayed here for one night on a Sunday and it definitely met the expectations for the price range. Beforehand I had requested anything complementary as it was our anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised that we were granted an upgrade to a junior suite on the top floor, however bare in mind it was a Sunday and not very busy. They kindly decorated the room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Overall, a very peaceful stay for both of us, helped by the lovely staff and topped off by a lovely breakfast. The main attraction was definitely the pool"

"Hotel check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious but I did book a superior room. Lots of hotels and pubs always fail to provide hair conditioners, tissues and face washers. Only a handful do that. Don’t understand how they don’t provide them when it’s such a small cost item. Dinner was nice but had to wait a long time, obviously due to short staffed. I definitely would stay there again."
