"Great stay"

"The staff were very helpful especially the manager who kindly arranged for us to change rooms as we are sensitive to road noise. However the hotel decor fixtures and fittings were tired and in need of refurbishment. Not what we expect at an Hotel du Vin having been regular customers in other hotels of this group around the country."

"It was a mixed bag - mostly positives, but with a couple of inexcusable negatives. Pros: The hotel is new, nice interior decor and amenities (small but well equipped gym, narrow swimming pool but with sauna/hot tub, nicely done, laundry room in basement with free use of washer/dryer, underground carpark - a rarity in Cambridge (though at a fee), apartment style rooms with kitchen including pots/pans/plates/cutlery/microwave etc etc, decent bed and bathroom). Staff at front desk were great....

"This was a great place to stay! My wife and I loved it! It is clean, quiet and the breakfast is delicious. Guido and Maria are so helpful and it was always nice talking to them in the morning. Guido had great suggestions on things to do in Cambridge and was very knowledgeable when it came to what time we should depart to get to the train station or leave to get to the airport. There is onsite parking and Guido provides very good instructions on where to enter and where to park. We would love...

"Great place to stay . Lovely grounds to look around . Really helpful receptionist and the breakfast was great and a good experience eating in the great hall."

"Basic, clean room with a small shower and toilet. I slept really well, which was the most important thing! Staff were very friendly. My room was on the second floor - just to highlight that there is no lift and the steps are quite steep. I didn't have the breakfast, instead I went to a lovely little coffee shop just round the corner. I'd go back if I needed to stay over in Cambridge again."
