Calica Packages (Flight + Hotel)

Everything was perfect except for the part when we spend a lot of time making a line for the pirate boat just for the lady to tell us that she didn’t count right and we couldn’t enjoy the ride!!!

We had a great time but 5 days was too much. The common areas were not very clean, the walls and baseboards in the buffet breakfast area were actually filthy. There was a cabinet in the hallway to put room service dishes and when I opened it there were 100s of bugs and my dishes stayed there for almost 2 full days. The decor was definitely not relaxing. Everything is hot pink or purple and hard surfaced. The lack of softness in the rooms was so noticeable as far as acoustic qualities. They could add a huge spa vibe for very little cost! Throw a rug down, hang some sexy canvas portraits on the walls and put a door on the shower! And also they need hooks on the black lacquer cabinets! Overall we had a good time because let's face it...it's Mexico and beautiful but we will not be going back. Side note: the staff was amazing!!

Excellent in every aspect of an all inclusive

Great resort! Staff are welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. All areas were clean and kept tidy. The buffet had a tremendous variety of food to choose from and all of it was delicious! Beautiful pool area with a beautiful beach attached. Zero complaints here.

This was our 4th stay at Fiesta Americana and each time we stay for a week! Prior stays at Condesa were very pleasant and good value for the money! This time however, things were different! The hotel was overcrowded, the pools were full with water warm and unappealing, the beach unusable due to seaweed (not the hotels fault)! The service is in general good and we only had a few instances with bad service! The food still good but slowly deteriorating with lower quality items on the menu/buffet! The restaurants do not require a prior reservation, however, the menus have changed with many of the good option for a price! The steak house requires a reservation but there are no options included with the all inclusive! If you want a simple steak, you pay $40 for a steak! The menu items with added costs used to be part of the All Inclusive! Frankly, when you book an all inclusive option you don't expect to pay additional for ordinary items. I can understand an extra charge for a lobster dish or Tomahawk steak! Maybe the locals get a different rate than the US visitors and they are okay with the additional costs! The coffee shop used to make good coffee/espresso but this time they were using a machine that didn't work well and frankly not drinkable! Bottle water is rare to find! Seaweed is not cleaned, therefore the sulfur smell is overwhelming! If you are going for the beaches, nice clean pools, a quiet relaxing environment, and good value for the money, find another resort!!
