Beautiful view of the pyramids. Staff was exceptional throughout my stay. Clean, friendly, polite and most importantly helpful. I can't say that I've had a better hotel experience in my life. I can say anything bad about my experience.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
The staff were a total knockout!! They were incredibly accommodating and super lovely.
The rooms are dated but decent enough to stay.
Due to dated nature, the room didn’t feel as clean as I’d like it.
Honestly though, the staff made up for it for me. Excellent!!!
We booked thr Gaia, but were sent to one of their sister properties, Panorama Pyramid Inn! The rooms were smaller than those pictured here , but still comfortable & clean. A/C in the unit. There is one small elevator, which holds 2-3 ppl at a time. The roofttop restaurant has a spectacular view of the pyramids! Be prepared to be overwhelmed with all sorts of Egyptian options for breakfast!! The staff truly ks remarkable and will make you feel rjght at home..
This is not the hotel it's more like motel/hostel.
The location is nice but lot of construction right in front of place and super noisy on street facing. it's not the hotel it looks like Motel. Not worth the price. They run on law staff for Breakfast in the morning. The standard room and bathroom are too small and crowded.
The employees were absolutely phenomenal. From recalling previous orders to ensuring that you receive everything that you need. Alex, Tony, Omar, you made our stay wonderful. You can hear traffic at night but that will be the case anywhere that you stay. I slept fine but my wife needed ear plugs. No big deal. Thanks again!
Our check-in was excellent despite being too late at night. Saif and Omar were ready to be receiving us and took care of all. Very professional guys at work. The staff attention couldn't be better, as it was in our three days before. Everybody willing to help all the time, pending on your needs and requirements. Restaurant doing a good job on the top floor with a wonderful view of the Pyramids. Good food and good variety. Again, Rana and Merna went the extra mile to take care of us, thing we appreciate too much. Safe and attentive drivers for transportation from and to the airport. All the best. Honestly. Highly will recommend this hotel to family and friends. Eduardo
Of course the strong point of this hotel is the location, very close to the three pyramids of Giza, which you can watch directly from the hotel terrace and restaurant area on the beautiful top floor. But there is another point even stronger: the staff quality from top to bottom. I need to mention the super excellent attention given to the four of us by Rana, the top supervisor, in contact with us since the very beginning of the reservation day. She organized several tours and airport transportation with Excelent punctuality, and Excelent guides and vehicles, meeting our expectations and requirements. Rana and Merna runs this hotel smoothly and make you feeling like at home anytime. The rest of the staff are all the time pending on your needs and requests. Honestly I don’t think there are other hotels better on this important topic. When it comes to the food and drinks, the hotel has a five star restaurant installed at the top floor, with an amazing view to the pyramids. Kudos to Alex and Tony there for their excellent service. Thanks a lot to Rana for her special and personalized attention all time, all above expectations. I would repeat our visit at anytime in the future, and recommend this property to family and friends. Nothing could be better!!👍👍👍

Disliked: Staff & service
My vacation/anniversary at The Gaia hotel was a complete disaster!!! Before we left the states to go to the Gaia, I read the reviews like we all do and saw some people talk about how they were being sent to other hotels upon arriving to Egypt to go to the Gaia. I called the Gaia to voice our concerns about this and they assured us that this was an isolated incident and we had nothing to worry about and our reservations for the Jr. suite is good.
When we arrived to Egypt, the hotel sent a driver to pick us up from the airport. The driver then proceeds to take us to another hotel called the Shadow Inn. This is at 1am and on our anniversary. We were angry and hurt.
We complained to the front desk at the Shadow hotel and called and complained to the Gaia. We explained that this is wrong and that we’re Americans trying to enjoy their country. Their response was the suite that we reserved at the Gaia had water damage and electrical problems. This was a lie and made matters worst. They offered to let us stay at this hotel. What choice did we have??? We stayed there for 2 nights. On the 3rd night, they called and said our room was ready. At this point, what did it matter?? We only had one more night in Egypt. We decided to go to the Gaia.
The Customer service manager decided to speak to us. She admitted that the truth was that they overbooked and blamed Expedia for the mixup. That sounded like another lie.
Take caution when booking at the Gaia.
Don't be fooled by the pictures - they're scammers
We had booked 1 night for New Year's Eve in the suite with a jacuzzi and a terasse overlooking the pyramids, several months in advance. I've read some bad reviews from previous guests saying they did not get the room they booked so I even whatsapped them 1 month before arrival to confirm our booking and that the pictures online of the room is what we will get. They said yes. Upon arrival and checkin they told us to wait a little without further explanation. When we asked why it took so long they said that the room we had booked was not available, but that they had a "room with similar standard and good view a couple minutes away from here", we said no we wanted our room, but they refused and kept saying they had electricity problems so that's why our room was not available. I asked to see the room with electricity problems but they couldn't show me, I think they doublebook as a strategy. With no choice, we took a look at the room they wanted to give us instead. It took 20 minutes to drive to their sister hotel and the room was awful, the view was also not good and it was really noisy outside. It was dirty and not at all the same standards. I contacted hotels.com to transfer me and in the process they refused to pick up the phone from hotels.com that tried to settle the case with them. Thankfully we managed to transfer to another hotel through hotels.com but I would not ever risk bookig there again. Trust the negative reviews, it's not worth it to risk ruin your holiday!
At first I was disappointed that the room I booked is a bit different from the ones in the Expedia. But after my 2 days , I was so happy . The bedsheets are immaculately clean. Free breakfast is good. Staff super to the max friendly. Complimentary tray of fruits all the time . and I had a very good sleep.
The top roof view of the pyramids was uncomparable

Get what you pay for :]
Pyramid suite is what we stayed in. Service and staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms is almost unbearable. Elevator is skech. Rooms look good, but do have wear and tear. Rooftop area is nice, but dated. No alcohol here.
All was excellent from check in to check out. five stars staff on all levels, including drivers, receptionist helpers, and front desk personal. Kudos again to Rana and Merna ahead of all staff. Recommended to all!!
I love staying here at the Gaia Pyramids.
Having travelled a fair bit i can honestly say that here i feel so welcome.
Shahd Mena Omar Mazen Rana Ismail Tony Alex Zain Rawan & all the other staff members throughout this hotel do a FANTASTIC job.
They are kind & helpful.🏆
There is a roof top restaurant with a decent selection of meals snacks deserts milkshakes & fruit cocktails on the menu.
I enjoyed very much dinner with that amazing view while watching the sun go down.
The rooms have a fridge & are clean & comfortable.
They provide a laundry service here also an ATM machine is very close by as are gift shops & a pharmacy.
There is a small gym on the premises also.

Went to this hotel at 10am dropped off my bags to do a scheduled tour. Once I got back it seems as though they gave our room away. They tried to put us in a sister hotel and make us pay more for a sister property. Hotel is nice but Be Aware!!!
Perfect location for a pyramids visit. Very Noisy area though as the roads are chaotic.
The staff were all brilliant and went over and above to help us out when we had a family medical issue, even sending a member of staff with us to the hospital to translate.
Rooms are small but convenient and clean,
Rooftop Restaurant is nice and cheap with a good selection, and incredible views
No other reason to stay in the area though unless you want to venture to the chaos of Giza itself.

When I arrived they did not have a room for me but told me I could not get a refund through then and I had to contact Expedia to do so. I did, Expedia said they could not contact the hotel. I was standing at the desk. I had to find another hotel in the area.
The staff was friendly every time we spoke to them but we had issues from the beginning to the end. We had to wait an hour for our room just to discover it was the wrong room. We were told we would be moved and ended up being taken to another hotel completely; just to get a room worse than the first. The lights also went out at this new location. Overall a poor experience.

Not responsible !!
After being so exited about my room, got to hotel just to know that the room was not available. I didn't get any call or email indicated this so I can make the arrangements.Had to book with another hotel and still in process for a refund cause they don't answer any calls. They had penalty of time to let me know do that the checking was at 2pm and I arrive almost at 8pm
Enjoyed a good breakfast every morning with good cappucino & that view of the Pyramids was a terrific way to start my day.
You can also take in that view whilst having dinner a snack or milkshake & never be alone thanks to the AMAZING staff throughout this hotel.
Ismail who was so kind & outgoing & even went to the trouble to buy me stuff for my ankle after i hurt it.
Ali was kind also & couldn't do enough to assist if needed.
Mahmoud was truly great too.
Rana Nada Shaad Mina were all so great at what they do & they are happy to do it.
The man who checked me in was really helpful & friendly.
All the staff went above & beyond.
Tours trips taxis can all be arranged.
There is an ATM machine close by & small supermarket plus gift shop & a few other eateries.
I hope to be back.
Gaia Pyramids Hotel was an absolute mess. The night of arrival our room was not even ready and they made us stay in another building without the amenties we paid for. The second and third night were okay and the fourth day they made us move to a hotel via a taxi because there was an electrical problem in the building with also not the amneities we paid for. They declined to refund no matter how much we complained. This company shouldnt be hosting rooms for guest.
