We stayed hear for 4days. It’s very spacious. The room is air conditioned. On day 1, I was able to get in at 10:00,so take a rest. The Kitchen is spacious and has plates and cups you can enjoy breakfirst or tea in your room as all the amenities are provided.

Nice Stay in a Great Location but Tired Property

Anna the receptionist was stellar as we were a later arrival and wasn't able to make prior arrangements because of phone connectivity issues. She was very accommodating. The property is well situated and well equipped. However, things appeared tired as some items were rusting or not maintained well. For example, the hot water kettle was had rust and the washing machine drain hose was not properly connected (which we fixed). Some parts of the dishwasher racks had rust. Maybe those are signs of the tropics and the salt air? Overall, it was a nice stay in a well-situated location.

The staff were very helpful, accommodating and warm. The apartment was spacious with a wonderful outdoor sitting area for morning coffees and evening dining. The apartment also had many appliances which was great eg NutriBullet for smoothies and an air fryer. There was a door handle that didn’t work properly but they fixed it as soon as it was mentioned and they appreciated being told. Overall the apartment was fantastic, the location was great and we had a wonderful family holiday.

Heaps of unrealised potential

The priperty management was extremely helpful, but the rooms were not very clean (we are a no shoes jnside family so you quickly get a sense of how clean the floor is). There were large items in one wardrobe making it largely unusable, a lamp in 1 bedroom was broken and the beds jin that room were on unlocked castors, so when you got in and out of bed they rolled all over the place. There were no spare garbage bags to use when you took your rubbish to the large bins, no spare toilet paper. No basic pantry items in the kitchen. The pool is nice but overlooked by lots of other apartments on 3 sides, so you have to be quiet, and the residents can watch you. If the management hadn't been so nice it would be 2 stars all the way. We were on the main road side and it was unexpectedly quiet. Walk across the st to a shopping centre and the train station. Good bus connections and $1 per day bus fare in Cairns. 10+ min walk to the esplanade.
