The apartment was spotless, well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and BBQ grill were very nice. John was super accommodating and helpful. We spent 30 days here and really enjoyed the location. You will want a rental car if you plan visiting surrounding areas. There is a bus that travels to Cairns and Palm Cove, however there is so much more to see. The only thing that surprised us was that people do not use the beach or swim in the ocean due to fear of cricodiles in the water. The beach was lovely to walk on, and there are small netted areas where people do swim. We most enjoyed our tours to snorkel the reef and our trip to Green Island!! The waterfalls and fresh water holes were wonderful! I recommend Crystal Cascades, Babinda Boulders and Eachum Lake!

If you want a quiet location this is it. Located approx. 5 mins from palm cove it was really quiet The room was great on the top floor, clean and tidy and the pool was always clean and refreshing

The overall stay was clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful. There was an air conditioner in the living room that worked well...but the bedroom remained pretty hot the entire time because the air just didn't move into the bedroom. The kitchen was pretty clean too, but I would suggest washing the pots and pans before use, they were a little greasy before I was able to use them.

Clifton Beach Quiet Gem

Amazing view of beach from balcony, clean and modern apartment with kitchen, comfy bed, lovely warm pool, fantastic walking track to Palm Cove at beach, quiet area. Unfortunately the local restaurant closed a few days before we arrived as all other restaurants are a drive away. One small improvement would be the shower water pressure andhot water running out quite fast. Everything else was fantastic!!

Absolutely superb. Apartment faced the beach where we could watch the sunrise every day. John was a superb host - very friendly and always helpful. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Loved the little carton of milk in the fridge for tea/coffee - the little touches matter! Easy to park and drive anywhere to local attractions and restaurants (only 5 mins drive away). Nice a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Loved it and would recommend.
