"Gentleman at the front desk was kind. Was offered an iron for my clothing for my Graduation Commencement shirt and pants, but we were told they did not have ironing boards. The room was stained, dusty, filth obstructing the phone, walls and light/sockets filthy, room entrybdoor was broekn and cracked with clear tape holding it together but leaving gaps for light and space exposed, shower had film and previous shampoo or soap on it, and bed cover was bleach stained."

"The good: Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and large! Room even had a balcony! Breakfast was standard continental breakfast. The bad: My wife detected an odor in the room and the chair had a nasty stain on it. We wouldn't even sit on it. The Ugly: The hallway had a VERY bad odor and the hotel had a sign at the front desk acknowledging that there was a stinkbug issue. Either of these issues would have made me leave if I had not already paid a non-refundable rate. Fortunately, we did not see ANY stinkbugs the night we stayed. But the 4th floor hallway smelled disgusting. This place could be so nice with a little more care... and for God sake, clean up the hallway! Avoid room 409."

"Every aspect of my stay was a delight. The location was ideal. The staff was welcoming & attentive. The room was well appointed, tastefully decorated and very clean. The included breakfast was excellent. All in all, The Georges exceeded my expectations."

"Front desk would not help my wife correct the reservation to her name. Instead, they denied her to check in and made zero attempt to help her contact Hotels.com to resolve. My wife (Princess) had me find another property and the same issue almost occurred again. There’s a situation when making a reservation on the Hotels site where if you leave the reservations page before booking and come back, the name of the guest reverts back to the site manager (me…Blake) instead of my wife. (Princess). I realized this after making the second reservation and called the property before she arrived. Fortunately at the Wingate, the front desk allowed the name change back to Princess. I want a refund for $145 or I’m done with Hotels. "
