"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was dirty at check in. Bed looked slept in. Had to switch to another room. Hotel public spaces have been updated but rooms are old and filthy. Also, dog fee listed with Orbitz is incorrect vs what was charged by hotel."

"There was a one inch hole in the ceiling above the shower. The air conditioner didn't work in 90° weather. Had this not been a late check in I would have turned around and walked away. Also, if you list one of your amenities as a "free breakfast" one should at least expect a continental style with maybe some fruit, muffins, yogurt, coffee, etc. When I asked about breakfast, the night clerk said it would be in the check in building...he even showed me the counter that looked like a simple food service area. When I went there in the morning there was coffee and...I'm not kidding here, a paper sack with a stale cinnamon roll, a flavorless chewy granola bar and a "mixed juice". I don't expect much but I'd rather not have a dollar store "breakfast". The man at the counter was rude and said "one bag per room"...for three people. This wasn't a cheap hotel by most standards but it definitely felt like every possible corner was cut here."

"Let's start with the drawbacks. Upon arrival, you might think you have made a poor choice. The exterior is tired, not totally unkempt, but tired. The hallway carpets need replacing, some painting would not go amiss. I was a little worried as I went to the desk. But the desk area is clean and tidy, as was my room. Again, the carpet in my room needs replacing, but I believe it had been vacuumed and all was in order. Getting an indoor pool and hot tub is unheard of at the price point of this hotel. But well maintained. Could the hot tub be hotter? Sure. But for a public pool area, it was safer and pleasant. I would go back, and will when I am traveling this way. Thank you for an excellent stay."

"This was a very nice place, clean with a friendly staff. We’re never terribly impressed by hotel breakfasts that always seem to be a “carb fest”. We just don’t bother to eat, but otherwise we found it clean and comfortable. The coffee was good! And we were delighted to be able to take in the Knicks game, too. (Sadly, they lost.)"
