Iberostar hotels in Brooklyn

"My room itself was mostly fine — appreciated having a fridge and microwave — but the hallways and common spaces were so unpleasant. Blasting club remixes even at 1AM, weed smell so intense that I wondered if people were smoking *in the halls* rather than in their rooms, people standing right outside my door and yelling up the hall for extended conversations since I was near the elevator. If you go in expecting a hostel-like experience for an atypically low rate for Brooklyn, I think this would make sense, but I was tired and a little sick coming straight off a business trip on the other side of the country. I was hoping for a similar experience to other budget but still "normal" hotels in the neighborhood, and didn't get it."

"This was an aggressively decent hotel. My bed was okay. The environment was okay. The staff, however, was excellent!"

"The room was clean and perfectly sized. They provide complimentary breakfast items like bagels, muffins, waffles, coffee, and apple juice. The hotel is conveniently located near Japanese Village and train stations. "

"Very good neighborhood hotel. Perfect for visiting our son who lived nearby. Convenient to subway. Not fancy, but clean, good shower, comfortable. Free coffee and tea was a big bonus. Nice staff. We will be back."

"The room had a really weird, kind of toxic smell to it. I'm not sure if they just had an exterminator in, or if they regularly spray chemicals to disinfect the room or something, but I do not think it was healthy for me to be breathing in whatever was lingering in that room. It made me quite nauseous and made it difficult to be in the space. The window was also cut in two by a big slat of wall, so there was a weird barred window quality, with a sliver of window at the top and bottom, but most of the window replaced by wall. It is one of the cheapest accommodation options, but still quite expensive for what you get. If you can afford it, I'd pay a bit more for somewhere else."

"Best room when you arent planning to stay inside most of your stay. The bed was super comfy. They give you a white noise machine which helped me a lot since I cant stand sleeping in silence. The only issue was the long check in— not the staff member’s fault. Super close to the subway."
